SEAFORTH | INTERNAL & EXTERNAL RENOVATIONS

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

MWa’s featured animated 3Ds illustrate our recent design work on an existing two storey home on a steep site at Seaforth (Internal and External Renovations).

The existing home is an amazing house with spectacular harbour views to the south and south east.  The home capitalises on the aspect of the site and the views, and has the main living areas of the home on the top floor.

The recent sketch design work is internal and external renovation of the home.  The existing internal layout will be altered to improve its efficiency and create an entry to the home which is befitting the calibre of the home.  The ground floor of the home will house the bedrooms and a new family room.  The family room will open onto the flat, rear north facing yard and the existing pool, an ideal indoor outdoor connection.

The main seaforth interior and exterior renovations to the upper floor will be the improvement to the upper floor balcony and the creation of an indoor/outdoor room – a perfect vantage to appreciate the views, while being protected from the sun, winds and inclement weather of the exposed position.

Works on the street level include a garage, pedestrian entry, storage and internal access with a lift.

Our 3D capabilities are the result of accurate CAD software and sketch up.  The results are design tools which aid in the understanding of both the external character and form, the interface with the existing dwelling, the interior spaces and the streetscape character of the Seaforth Internal and External Renovations.

At MWa we use sketch up in our initial sketch design process, so clients have the benefits of visualising their homes at the very beginning of the Seaforth Internal and External Renovations process.  We also provide our clients with their own sketch up file, to explore at home and to show interested friends and family.
