Michelle Walker: director & principal architect

Michelle studied fine arts at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and completed her honours architecture degree at the University of Sydney in 1994.

She registered with the NSW Board of Architects in 2000 and created MWa in 2007. Michelle has a particular interest in housing, planning, development and heritage.

Danielle completed her Masters in architecture at the University of Technology, Sydney in 2011.

She joined MWa in 2013 and registered with the NSW Board of Architects (#9687) in 2015. Danielle has extensive experience in residential design including interiors and is our contract administration specialist.

Melanie Blankenstein, Graduate Architect

Melanie studied Architecture at the University of Technology Karlsruhe, Germany and completed her architecture degree (Dipl Ing.) in 2000.

She joined MWa in 2015, bringing her continental design aesthetic to our practice, with a keen eye for interiors including finishes and lighting.
